The Des Moines Christian Church was planted by a group of 18 disciples from all over the Midwest. They had a dream of building a church of true disciples of Jesus from every age, race, and socio-economic background in Des Moines. It is inspiring to see that dream becoming a reality and we are far from done. We are still dreaming of bringing Christ’s love to every community and every generation in Des Moines and beyond.

Authenticity
We strive to be real disciples of Jesus — loving Him, following Him, and serving Him with all our hearts. We are honest about our weakness, grateful for his grace, and eager to grow stronger.
Family
We are not just a meeting place or a religious organization, we are a family. We are devoted to accepting, serving, helping, and loving one another as Jesus intended.
Diversity
We are a diverse church — comprised of many different races, ages, occupations, education, socioeconomically. We are unified by our common love for God and one another.
Visionary
We are hungry to spread the love of Jesus to all of Des Moines, the midwest and beyond.

Serving the poor and needy in Des Moines monthly as well as our sister church over seas in Kenya once a year in special missions
